Lower Boost Pipe to Intercooler - broken clip

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have a stock 04 Fabia VRS, thing has run like clockwork until this saturday when I hear an almighty bang and get lots of black smoke from exhaust.

I managed to limp the car to the next Services and called out RAC. Turns out the pipe into the intercooler had just popped out and it was down to a broken clip by the looks of things.

RAC bloke was able to put the pipe back together but as such there is no clip holding the join at present and I am not sure as to what clip I should be looking to get fitted.

I have tried searching around on the Forum but cannot seem to find an answer, any help would be much appreciated.

take care as if I remember rightly there are 3 different sizes on the system  two of which look almost identical  best check with the stealers

Try Skoda car parts or skodaparts.com shouldn't be more than £2 for part. Mine blew off 2 years ago and my lugs on the connector got damaged, so I bought a new bottom 90 degree connector and a new clip. Just under £90 odd.

Cheers for the link Keith, and cheers for the suggestion of skodaparts.com (don't know how I didn't come across that site yet), now I got a part number I can source the correct thing! cheers
