Retrofitting RNS-315, 2 faults

Featured Replies

Hello,

I had SWING unit and retrofitted to RNS315. Everything is working, sound is nice too, but those two faults is always here.

Can someone help me to get rid of those two faults? What is actually wrong?

The HU thinks a Bluetooth module is attached, but it isn't.

I have a bluetooth module attached. It was working on SWING and also working on RNS315..

Misread it. There is a problem with the microphone. Check the wiring.

Wiring looks good. Microphone is working fine and with old unit there was no mistake too.

I am more worried why it says Control Module Incorrectly Coded

If the microphone is working fine (and assuming you have already cleared the faults and they keep reappearing), maybe you should turn off the "Microphone diagnostics" bit from the Long Coding, if you can find it?

Exactly, was thinking about it, gonna try that soon.

Ok, i find the problem. Only needed to to clear internal bluetooth from 37-Navigation and all mistakes dissapeared. I have external bluetooth module connected, no internal bluetooth.

Thanks for trying to solve my problem :)

trundlenut, you were so close :)
