Mine certainly doesn't drag the car forward, it just holds on the brake when you let go. Then let's go once you press the accelerator.

Which is exactly how it worked on my previous DSG Octavia.

Have you asked your dealer to look at it, as that doesn't sound right.

I'd rather just kill HHA altogether and do it properly. Old skool...
