New to me fabia vrs

Featured Replies

Well had my car in at garage today to give it a proper look over and there a nice little list of work to be done on it

NS drive shaft boot

NS anti roll bar link

NS OS lower arm rear bush

OS front break something stuck behind disk and back plate

OS rear caliper sticking or could be handbreak cable

All common faults and maintenance then really!

Calipers sticking is a common one, might be worth seing if caliper return springs will sort that.

Wishbone bushes usually get replaced with better options wush as PSB like i've used.

NS driveshaft boot - around £50

NS drop link - about £30

NS + OS Wishbone bushes - expect anything from £100 to £200, people do it different ways and it can be a chew, just hope the front bolts come out ok and dont damage the consol that the bush sits in, then things get costly!

OS front brake - Depends what it is, backing plate pulled out the way more than likley - Free

Rear caliper - If they use a new one they can get costly also, depends what they want to do, replace, repair or second hand.
