Hello all,

 

Just purchased some coilovers for my MK3 Octavia. I know they are going to spend life under the arches and not seen, but any recommendations on what to use to protect them?

 

I was thinking of maybe using carbon collection's platium wheels, or maybe just a good wax.

 

Maybe it's a bit OCD?

You can get coilover socks to protect the threads.

The Carbon Collective sounds a good shout as most dirt will jist jet wash off but as above you can get the socks to protect. Hopefully someone will provide a link.

If only....sadly that is impossible. Fairly much every road I drive on has speed bumps now.

ACF50 is what you want. No point messing around with carbon collective.

Electrical tape the threads up as well and you will be all good.
