Does anyone know if the clips/plugs that hold the floor mats in place can be fitted without removing the carpet.

Reason for asking - im picking up my new octy on friday and I didnt see any mats inside, thay may have taken them out to stop them getting dirty on test drives but if there are no mats when i pick up the car ill take them out of my current one before part exchanging.

Trouble is swmbo said she didnt notice the plugs that hold the mats in place so I was wondering if you can buy them and fit them latter without to much hassle.

Any help would be great so I can pick up the parts while im there.

they screw into the carpet so yes easy to fit.

Havn't bothered screwing mine to carpet, just lay them on carpet.
