Daytime running lights

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Read various comments re DRL's but I have what might be a stupid question. However I have a 2018 Fabia with DRL's at the front but nothing in the rear lights. Is that right, ? Would have thought DRL's both front and rear would make sense. Any comments gratefully received.

Welcome.

Rear on would make sense but drivers even lazier.

As it is many have no idea what lights they have.

DRL's / Daytime or actually Daylight Running lights, so for use in Bright light to let people know a car is moving, people on foot cycle not just cars.

So put on Side / Position lights and dipped beam when poor light or visibility etc.  See and be seen from front and rear.  You know it makes sense.

Dip do not dazzle, and too bright DRL's in poor light can dazzle other road and pavement users.
