Oil Temp in Torque App

Featured Replies

Hello

I am trying to set up custom PID in torque app to read oil temp in my 07 fabia bsw.
First thing is that i am not sure if this car got oil temp sensor.
Second one is that i am not sure what should I type in torque app.
Any ideas? Maybe someone could share other useful custom PID's for torque?

When you have the car connected and the app open, if you go to add a display you will be able to see the pid's the car supports (in green). Provided the oil temp is on the list, just add the display to the screen. I have custom pid's for power and torque (from airflow) which is of no use on my VRS.

unfortunately provided oil temp pid is not working. So i'm wondering if skoda needs different pid or maybe this car just do not read oil temperature.

What engine is it?

You can add the custom pid lists specific to other manufacturers and see if you get lucky, but it looks like your car might not have an oil temp sensor.

Even on mine that has an oil temp sensor which is activated and showing up fine on the maxidot, the oil temp through Torque is not working.
