I have a mk1 octavia estate pd130 elegance and i have a remap and do quite like a bit of spirited driving now thing is go i stick with oe disks n pads or oe disks n uprated pads if so what's best bet for every day with sometimes heavy spirited driving any help muchly appreciated

I'm a huge fan of Mintex 1144s for daily fast road use. Good bite from stone cold so work well in the winter too. Standard discs and decent fluid mean that they don't fade that easily on track either. I have a tame Mintex pads supplier if you can find out the appropriate Mintex pad shape for your car.
