The no bucket wash method (no its not waterless)

Featured Replies

I came across this via another forum and wondered on people's thoughts on this. My own view is

1) I do use snow foam but via a pump sprayer. I've not got a lance so haven't got anything to compare it to scientifically but my view is using it via a pump sprayer at the same dilution should give the same cleaning effect as full on foam at much less cost. I guess this is his equivalent to a shampoo pre wash

2) I've used a 1 bucket method before I got my pressure washer and just rinsed the mitt in the hose. I think there is some sense in what he says on this rinse technique rather than a second bucket

3) I'm less convinced by using the shampoo directly on the mitt. I'm not certain how you achieve the correct dilution and don't strip the wax

4) That's a pretty clean car to start with in the video.
