Battery very low -> bluetooth no more working

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Im owner of a skoda montecarlo 2013 (as under my avatar) and recently got the battery very very low, the ignition wasnt even able to start the engine.

I just charged it and almost everything was working as before.

I say "almost" because my car isnt recognizing the bluetooth anymore! It is like i havent installed it in the car

To be more precise:

  • Bluetooth from Kufatec, integrated into amundsen+
  • Bluetooth menu accessible from "Phone" on the amunsden+

Before having it added to the car, the phone button was acting like mute. then the dealer added bluetooth (they forget it when i got the car) and everything was fine.

Now the phone button is acting like it wasnt installed.

I think the bluetooth configuration got deleted by the low low battery and i need to recode it.

I think i should need a VAG cable to do it and/or accessing the hidden menu in the amundsen+

Anyway im left with some questions which i hope someone more experienced can shed some ligh on:

  • In order to reconfig bluetooth i need access to the centraline through VAG?
  • Someone knows if it is the correct way?
  • Looking at kufatec installation manual http://www.fiscon-mobile.eu/support/img/fiscon_vw_en.pdf - page 10 it seems i need the VAG
  • Does someone known wether i got a rns310 or rns315? My one has the SD card slot near the left side buttons and amundsen+ is written

Thank you for your help!! :)
