Hey there. Have my cr 170 vrs. Problem with the intake manifold. Changed the motor but still fault with usial symtoms...glow plug light and loss of power. I then decided to disconect the arm from the motor leaving the flaps open. Fault gone and full power. Should be happy days but after a week of driving fuel consumption has lesened considerably. Any help would be appreciated. I was thinking to buy from the deisel geek guys the bracket that fits to the motor and fixes the extra movement issue causing the fault but that will take over a week to get here so need another idea to fix fast as have lots of driving to do and my vrs has a fuel consumption closer to a v8 than a 2.0ltr

Hi there and welcome! Probably best to post this in the Octavia II forum (presume it's a Mark II?) as you should get plenty of responses there. Hope you get it sorted.
