Hi all, 

 

I recently found out that my ABS unit is faulty getting the fault code G201 following warning light on the dash. 

 

local Skoda dealer isn't willing to change this out of goodwill being well out of warranty (2007 VRS TDI), 

 

I'm looking to get a 2nd hand replacement. do any of you fellow Briskodians have any idea what the part number on this would be? I'm no mechanic and don't want to risk breaking something attempting to get it off to find out.

You can get a repair kit, which is the pump section only, its about £200, you take the ABS module off and swap the pump over that's what I did with mine a few years ago.

 

Just noticed your in corby, I'm in Milton Keynes, and have VDCS for bleeding it.

buy a used one, dirt cheap on ebay

 

fairly easy to change

I got mine for £180 on Ebay from a Skoda dealer. Got it fitted at a VAG indy.

 

Once upon a time it was over £1k for the part but it's not the end of the world now.
