Octy Estate Boot Floor Supports

Featured Replies

I need to fit a dog guard which requires the removal of the left and right supports which sit under the floor panel. Can anyone help?

Thanks.

Do you mean the uprights on which the raised boot floor sits? If so, these are attached at the rear of the boot (ie by the boot opening) by twist clips which fix the runners to the metal hoops in the floor at either side of the boot (in the wee gap between the side panel and the outer edge of the runner. Sorry if these aren't what you mean. The OEM dog guard is a great piece of kit and works with or without the raised boot floor.

I had an OEM guard in my mk1 estate, brilliant it was :-)

Yes that's it. I'll have a look shortly. Thanks so much.

I am really puzzled. I have removed the false boot floor and checked the inside and outside of the uprights. The is no visible sign of any fixings as appears in the manual.
