Folding tower, what have I missed?

Featured Replies

Bound to be something so doing a little checklist

Silent running PSU and Athlon 64 3500 chip from Fluff

30gb HDD from another machine

CD-R/W to use as basic ROM / whatever

From Ebuyer:

Asus Socket 939 motherboard

A black tower which seems good value for money

And 512mb of Kingston DDR400 Ram.

I already have a monitor to go with it along with keyboard & mouse.

Reckon there's anything I'm missing? Or any compatability issues?

Looks just fine Jason.

It might do other things top, but yes, it is primarily to crunch for the team. :) It will be wired up to my network so I might use the spare unused HDD space as a backup for my data on this PC. :)

I can't be ar5ed to swap towers so I use the more powerful one for general use as this one is setup to my liking now, and is decently fast on its own. (has good graphics/sound, etc - new one will have no sound, cheap graphics. etc etc - just quick CPU)

Its replacing my old athlon 750 which WAS just folding. And replacing my P4 laptop I sold which in the end was just folding. :)

are you mad?

Jason, You still haven't answered the all important question
