air con fan in engine bay.

Featured Replies

The 2nd fan in the engine bay for the air con don't work. Ive had the condencer changed. The  fan wernt working prior to it getting changed. Any one know if the there is a separate fuse for the entire air con system?

Small fan?  Usually the carbon brushes in the motor need freeing up/ replacing.

Yep its the small fan. It had some mud on it a while back (the joys of working on the railway). It'll turn easily by hand.

Mine was the same, Stripped the fan out, Motor out and the brushes were not connecting, Freed them up, put it back together, Very easy job to do..

Have you tried to supply with 12v directly to the fan to see if it spins? Just for a sec to check it before start taking parts out without reason. Brown cable is (-) terminal to battery.
