Getting excited should be picking up my new motor tomorrow 2014 petrol Vrs estate, black pack, sat nav, heated leather (Fr) seats and sunset glass. As a bit of a serial modifier can anyone recommend any upgrades?

I'll be looking at a remap or dtuk box, but anything essential I should be looking at? I won't be lowering the car as I have a steep drive and my mk2 scraped

I have a RARB in the garage waiting

I've had my 230 since march, not done anything to it yet other than matt black badges, oh.. and fitted a net kit in the boot. and turned on the cornering lights with vcds.

I have a set of eibach pro springs in the garage ready to go on.. debating whether to bite the bullet and get some bilsteins at the same time. Rear would definitely benefit from stiffer arb and the rears look a little lost in the arches so would benefit visually from spacers.

Money no object i'd also get some lighter rims and some grippier tyres. The 230 is pretty quick already - not sure i'd want to trade the warranty or a few extra bhp with mapping.

Miltek exhaust wouldn't go a miss on the petrol vrs. I'm planning on one in the future although it is expensive. Petrol vrs is much too quiet in my opinion.

I wish there was an "active" aftermarket exhaust for the vRS. My days of droning exhaust noises all the time are gone but I still love the sound when you open it up.

Golf R seems great, one whispered past me as I walked the other day, then when they opened her up a nice deep throaty noise :-)
