Dog Dryers

Featured Replies

Have gone up in price.

Is this the DW effect again?

I use mine on every wash, ideal for forcing the water out of gaps, holes, drying tyres etc.

Mine has hot air as well, so keeps my hands toasty in winter.

Or are you posh and have a Metro Vac Blaster?

I just use a simple pet dryer with a hot air button. Very powerful. I dry my whole car with it. Very rarely use drying towels now.

Same apart from I have my drying towel to catch the stream and any forced drips.

(my dryer is over 3 years and still going)

I have a Metro Vac Blaster Sidekick I use on my Harley, but its also good for mirrors, door, bonnet & tailgate shuts as well as wheels and grilles :)

Polished Bliss were selling them for £75.00, I don't know how that compares to the dog dryers.

I bought one of these from eBay, but a different supplier, just after Christmas;

It was about £55.00 when I ordered mine, but the supplier I used is now listing them at £155.  It is excellent, though and I would recommend one.  Mine is used for wheels, tyres, gaps and cracks and blowing water from inside the door mirrors that annoyingly used to run out when going round corners after washing the car.

Like wise - i'm about 3 years in with the pet dryer purchased for a bout £40 inc delivery at the time. :thumbup:

I'm always happy to recommend these; but had noticed the price slowly edging up year on year.

That's why I went for the Metro Vac Blaster Sidekick in the end as the difference isn't as great now between it and the pet dryer.

Think its the DW effect kicking in.

Years ago the Dog Dryers where the cheap option, but seeing as the Metro is roughly the same price, its more of a buyers choice.

But they are one of the "must have" tools for me.
