1.4 16v (AUB) engine oil change - tips?

Hi all,

Our 1.4 16v Fabia (2001/51, AUB engine code) will be coming up for an oil change soon, and I fancy doing it myself.

I have downloaded aixlad's excellent 'how to' guide - my question is, as this is specific to the vRS, are there any changes for accessing the filter on my engine? (assume there is an undertray on the petrol models, haven't looked as it's dark!) Also, I assume a 32mm socket is not required as the filter is a standard canister? Finally, do I need to take the plastic cover off the top of the engine at all? (Not used to cars with engine covers like this one :confused: ).
