Fuel pump relay

Featured Replies

I'm having trouble with warm starting on my Octavia. I read in a Q&A thing in the Glasgow Herald motoring of a similar problem in a Golf 110tdi and they suggested replacing the fuel pump relay.

Theres no diagram of relays in the hand book where do i find this one and how easy is it to replace. Is there a part number?

The car starts fine when cold, takes a lot of turning over when warm but eventually starts. And I dont know if i've imagined this but occassionally i feel the car "miss a beat" when travelling at a constant speed as if fuel momentarily stops getting to the engine. No warning lights have come on.

Hope you all had a good Christmas and all the best for 2006

Cheers

I believe its relay 109 that is situated under the steering wheel behind a removeable panel, it will be obvious which relay it is as it has a big 109 printed on it, just pull out and push new one in. No idea on cost tho' ......... anyone??

Mine has also done this for ages. so i would be interested to know if this cures your problem.
