what light is coming on ?

Featured Replies

i've a 1.4 16v x reg fabia with ASR

3 times today while driving an orange light came on the dash for a split second,i didn't see it quick enough but it was either the ASR light or the system management light.

i spun my front wheels leaving the petrol station forecourt and pretty sure it was the ASR light that came on.

any idea's ?

all 3 times when started from cold.

If it was a EPC or Engine Management light It probably would have stayed on, I Guess the Icy weather is making the ASR KIck in more often?

it will be the traction control if it came on when u spinned ya wheels.

yeah, Its just the traction control working, it'll flash every time it cuts power to the wheels.....

I tend to agree it sounds like traction control.

If it helps the EPC light is in the rev counter while the traction control light is in the speedo.

yeh its where the speedo is.

it only came on when i was on turning the wheel going into 3 smaller roads with snow and not on main roads going straight.

another thing that is new to find out about the fabia )

It's the traction control kicking in. It happens a lot on mine at this time of year, especially with my Dunlop tyres !!.

does it all the time on drain covers! or comeing out of a turning for me this time of year:)
