Mudflaps favour

Featured Replies

If anyone has mudflaps for a vRS estate that they are about to fit, would you mind doing me a favour and tracing their outline on a4 and scanning it for me? Want some rally style flaps for mine but looks like I have to make them as can't find any for sale...

or just fit the OE skoda ones. Fit perfectly, takes ten mins and cost £30 from Superskoda

Just fitted a set to my VRS estate

Because I don't want a set, too many speed humps round here and reports that the oem ones get ripped off...

I presume by them catching the ground as the vRS is lower... but since I only read the report of it happening I don't know for sure... But I would prefer flexible ones anyway because I prefer that look...

My VRS has gen Skoda mud flaps fitted front and rear, have been on since two days after I collected her, lowered on Eibach springs and no problems at all.

my last octavia had standard mudflaps fitted from factory ( elegance model ) but was supplied with sports suspension ( lowered 15mm) so would have been same height as VRS

did 90,000 miles with no issues whatsoever

Exactly! It'd be a poorer world if we all agreed about the same things.

There's still plenty of clearance between the bottom edge of the OEM ones and the ground - the vRS is only a couple of inches lower than lesser versions. Negligible risk. But your car, your choice.
