Hello from Worksop

Featured Replies

Been a while coming but this time last week the delivery man knocked on my door and handed over the keys to a Yeti Outdoor L&K 1.4 manual.

This is a pure rental deal for two years at a price that seemed too good to pass by.

We are spending £££ on our house at the moment and in the meantime our 520d estate seemed to be moving into a high maintenance phase - so started looking for a replacement.

I fancied a 4wd - doubtless over the top really but we are on a minor steep road now and a Yeti was just about on the radar - while searching a cheap rental offer came up which will fix my costs for a couple of years and puts us in a brand new car.

Killer point - I really wanted to get back into a car with a sunroof - this has a beauty, and lots of other toys.

Initially I was a bit surprised that there's no trip computer display, just a diagram of the car between the dials. After three days I shut the boot lid and it's been fine since then!

Doesn't seem too economical, but we'll see how that pans out with some miles - otherwise a very nice package...

btw can anyone point me at a cheap cable for an ipod - and how to get the satnav to shut up?

Cheers

Rick
