I have a 2003 Skoda 1.6i {not remote cl} one key works fine the other does everything but start engine, well it starts for a second or so then cuts out, no tech skills, what do I do?

Key needs coding to immobiliser via vcds.

sounds like it's not programmed to the car so the immobiliser isn't turning off with the key - think it might need to be done with a VCDS but not 100% sure - others on the forum should be able to confirm or give you a better answer

do a search I think it can be done without vag com ---IF the non functioning key DID work at some point in the past
