Can anyone help me out with what et I should be gettin for the octavia vrs mk2

I was running 18"" but goin to 19" and the size I was looking at was 5x112 8.5 et40 or et35 but been told I should be going for 8" and et 45

Anyone help me out ?

Just by ppl that r running 19" and lowered

8" & ET45 is fairly conservative.

 

It doesn't matter what diameter rim you are running as you'll be sizing your tyre to be the same overall diameter.... (won't you?).

 

It would be helpful if you stated your current width, ET and tyre size
