Kia Picanto Interior Cleanup

Featured Replies

Decided to tackle the interior of SWMBO's Kia Picanto. Hardly ever gets done, and with the mess of 2 kids it needed doing!

I don't have a wet vac or George-style extractor so did the best I could with Meguiars APC and a stiff bristle brush. Plastics were wiped over with Megs APC using a stiff brush for tougher stains (for which there was many!) and treated with Autoglym Vinyl and Rubber Care.

Some before and afters: -

Definitely needs wet-vaccing but still much better than it was. SWMBO was happy so that's something!

Great job there! One of my pet hates is doing interiors but they are so satisfying when done & done properly! Looks cracking!

Thanks guys, was hard work! Still need to do the floor mats but the same process will apply to those.

Really want a George or some type of proper wet-vac. People have been raving about the Titan wet-vac from Screwfix so thinking of getting one of those. What do you guys think?

Looking at wet-vac options myself..... but not in a rush....

Titan Wet-vac is a bargian for sure!

Other options that have been recommended to me are....

Aquarius Pro

Nilfisk Multi

Karcher Puzzi

Great result - did look like a challenge, seeing the 'before' pics!

Nice price on that Titan too! I bought a VAX one 2nd hand about 3yrs ago, that does any car stuff that's required (usually for family) and also the house carpets. But that's gotta be worth a punt - even to buy, try it out - and if it's rubbish, take it back!

The George Wet Vac Gets some great reviews and is widely used. Thought about getting one of them myself to do my own car.

Not heard much about the titan wet vac myself buddy.
