Towbar Fitted and now no hatchback

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

As per my post on here when I bought my superb 2010 the hatch wasnt working and eventually the dealer fixed it under warranty by replacing the wiring loom for the boot. It was stiff at first but after some grease was applied all worked well.

On Friday I had a towbar fitted (witter with bypass wiring) now the small boot opens with either the button or the fob but when you press the right boot button nothing, no flashing light and no open hatch.

After reading something on here I had a closer look at the boot latch and can see the thick tape on the male part of the boot lid, so it seems unlikely to be the micro switch problem.

I used Carista module to check for error codes and the only one that seems at all relevant was

Central electronics:
03396 - Supply Voltage Terminal 30 for Central-Locking

Does anyone have any ideas.
