Evening all, I have a Columbus sat nav, when on 'media' it shows CD, SD, HDD, MDI and Bluetooth, MDI is greyed out, I can't see a port for it anywhere, does it show up (greyed out) even when there is no MDI fitted in the vehicle or have I just not found the port yet?

Either in the armrest, or in the glove box usually. Or maybe it's been coded in and isn't fitted.

Greyed out means not fitted or nothing connected.

As you can't find it I'd say not fitted.
