Juddering

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have recently bought a 2008 skoda Octavia Vrs tdi soon after buying it I start getting problems with it, a juddering at low rpm sometimes it is slight and other times it is vigorous to the point the passenger seat rattler a lot, it also starts up really lumpy as if it is on 3 cylinders and it burns oil a lot aswell, I took it to skoda for a diagnostic and I was told I had a seized DMF and to replace with the clutch would be £1600 so I took it elsewhere to get done, happy days ............ Well apparently not as I have had it back and it is doing exactly the same. Any suggestions? Injectors? Turbo?

I had the same problem with juddering on idle, i ve been told that is one injector, I end up in reconditioning all four, the car wasn't juddering that bad but didn't resolve the problem for good. If you're sure is not the flywheel, check the injectors at a specialist, might be something from fuel system
