I'm Looking to invest in a VAG-COM set up to use with my Octavia L&K 1.9tdi 03 plate. I have had a climate control issue for some time and want to investigate before taking it in to the dealer.

I have read more and more about interfaces etc CAN non can K line etc.......To the point I have confussed the issue.

What interface cable do I need????? and are any on ebay from the states OK? I have a decent laptop and will be using USB.

any cable should work with the Mk1 octavia. The CAN ones are backwards compatible anyway, but you don't need it.
