Cleaning Inside Heated Rear Window

Featured Replies

Hi

Just fitted a new rear hatch (complete including window)

Window is seriously mucky, outside is no problem.

Want to know best way to clean grime off inside without damaging heating elements?

So far have only been wiping along direction of elements with clean dry cloth - not quite enough.

Would a cloth dampened with screenwash be OK on elements?

Or there is always my other cleaning standby - Vodka (expensive, yes, but still cheaper than some specialist product)

What else would you recommend?

Thanks

autoglym glass cleaner is very good

This.

The blue liquid one, probably best cleaner out there for really dirty windows.

Finish with AG Fast Glass.

+1 for the AG Fast Glass cleaner......very easy to use and buff. Ensure your cloths are very clean and, as you highlight, go in the direction of the heating elements to prevent damage!
