Hello friends, whats your toughts about this subject?

They offered me OEM parts for service(oil filter, polen filter, fuel and air filter) and non OEM filters, which are cheapier for like 20 pounds.

So I dont drive very much and I service my car every second year, what to do, what to choose?

Also dealer say it does need 5l oil, but if I remember last time I was order 6l, how much does actually need?

Hi. Not sure of the oil amount you need but Mann, Bosch, Hengst service parts are as good. It depends on yourself really and what you're happy to spend on your car. 

i had replaced filters and did an oil change recently...my 1.9 took 3,7 L
definitely you can go with Mann filters (as highlighted here on forum by many users...) - quality and good fit ...a little expensive though

I dont want to be cheap on parts bcs I really dont want to sell car, because I cant find anything as good as Sup mk1 for now.

I always use MANN filters, very good quality.  Been using them for 100,000 miles with no issues.

You should really buy the activated carbon pollen filter if you can, it massively cuts down on diesel NOx fumes in the car.  Your lungs will thank you.

i always put in Castrol 5-30 edge fst (chnage every 15-20k km)

I use Total Quartz Ineo Longlife 507.00  which is very well priced for branded 507.00 - less than £5 for 1l bottles.  Buy 4 bottles, pour 3 in and then use a bit more than half of the last one.  Gives me a little topup for between changes.

Where to buy that kind of polen filter?

Does Skoda dealer have it?

First, if you have the 2.5 tdi, it takes 5,4 L of oil.

It's true that not everyone can draw all of it out when changing it (depends on the method and patience of the mechanics), so you usually end up adding between 5-5,2 L. I would use the same oil brand/type you had in the car before changing. I always used in mine the Castrol Edge 5W-30 (supposedly best viscosity for this engine).

Regarding the filters, I always used Mann, but lately I have a difficult time finding the diesel filter (dealers said they are not getting this anymore, but I guess it's market dependant), so I am using Mahle instead of Mann now.

Regarding the Polen filter it's common, everybody has it, just ask for active charcoal filter. I would recommend as above, use MANN.
