Locking Wheel Nut

Featured Replies

Locking wheel nut key has been damaged therefore now needs to be replaced. Dealers want £60 for a new key. I have tried one of those removal kits all it did was take the top of the nut off.

How else can I remove them?

Look like this

They aren't genuine lockers anyhow so a dealer wouldn't be able to supply one.

Try clubbing on an impact socket.

Will do once I've found one the right size. Main head diameter is either 20.5mm or 21.5mm

Had them taken off today. Saw a breakdown truck at the petrol station so asked. Done in 30 minutes
