Trouble with head unit and central locking

Featured Replies

Hopefully someone on here can help, I have a 2003 octy vrs all original and I have my trusty old alpine head unit which I know works fine and been in many cars however when I removed my original unit and fitted the alpine I seem to have lost my remote central locking and I'm baffled, the only connection left is what I believe to be the cd changer in boot. The head unit is working as it should and saving it's settings.

Pretty common issue, you need to disconnect one of the terminals in the block, think it's the K line diag terminal or the alarm connection. There is some info on here about it.
