How much is my Fabia worth?

Featured Replies

What is WBAC saying.?

Maybe £1,000-£1,500 more than that if you find a buyer.

?

Are you selling private or looking to trade in?

Trade in will very much depend which Manufacturers Dealership or Independent and how much they want to sell what you are buying.

The offer might be near the WBAC quote.

£7,350 according to WBAC

Yeah i'm looking to sell privately, i've been offered by Dealerships 6k....

?

Is that for a straight cash sale to them?

They know they can sell to WBAC if not on the forecourt.

Nice colour and nice car, best try a 'Asking Price' that suits you and advertise.

Then you can see what responses you get, maybe even a Dealer offering more than the WBAC offer.

Essentially was looking to trade in for a Golf R, that was the cost. I want to try and get 8k for it as I have 8k finance outstanding. Anything more is a bonus.

My Scout was valued by WBAC at £4,300 and I sold on eBay for £5,800. So although a different car that shows the kind of low offer they give.

Is a VW Dealership only offering £6,000 against a Golf R?

Maybe out of interest try a Seat Dealership and see what they offer against a Seat Leon Cupra 290 even if not wanting one.

Or

a Skoda Superb 280 4X4 just to see the cheek of a Skoda Salesperson.

Yeah could do. I suppose I can try ebay and see what kind of offers I get. At the end of the day, I would like to earn a little bit of money from it so I don't leave myself too short.

Try a Forum's For Sale.  Briskoda is very good value....

6k trade in is pretty insulting, you should easily get 8-8.5k. A couple of months back I was only offered 7k trade in for my 14plate Fabia vrs and its only done 14,000 mile
