Help! "Consumption since Re-fuel" display gone AWOL

Featured Replies

Hi, all.

I prefer to display the “Average Consumption since Re-fuel” on the Maxi-dot when not using the Nav function. But last night I noticed it had disappeared! I tried scrolling through everything and had a look in the Infotainment but couldn't find any way of resurrecting it. I had to fill the tank today and hoped that might spur it back into action, but no joy.

All I can get now is the “Consumption since Start” and the current consumption displays. I'm probably missing something obvious, but can someone kindly explain how I get “Consumption since Re-fuel” to come back.

Press the Arrow back button the right hand side of the wheel

this will take you to the main maxidot menu

go on "Driving Data" then scroll up with the right hand finger wheel till you get average MPG

every time you use the sat nav it will automatically change to turn by turn navigation on maxidot unless you specify otherwise

While “Consumption since Start” is displayed, press the right hand arrow roller button on the steering wheel to choose between “Consumption since Start”, “Consumption since Re-fuel” and "Long term". This also applies the distance, driving time and average speed displays.

Haven't used my car for two days. I always have the average consumption showing and it usually reads about 45.9 mpg long term. Ignition on today and it showed 5.9 mpg long term and about 10mpg since refuel - odd or what?

Thank you, Rodge.  I never knew that.  Every day's a school day!

Not odd at all

The long term resets at the earlier of either 99 hours or 9999 km or miles ( depending on unit measure used).

It's in the manual.

Thank you Gerrycan for your prompt reply and to owning up that you read  the manual.
