1.4 Greenline - no power

Recommended Posts

My Greenline has until recently given me sterling service, 145000 trouble free miles. Then the turbo needed replacement, duly done. Then the Dpf failed and it was removed. What followed was about 3000 miles of occasional engine management fault which was easily reset. Then we had a more persistent fault codes, EGR, pressure sensors, injectors. Finally it went to limp mode but beforehand had lost some power. Dpf replaced with aftermarket version as we couldn't get the engine faults to clear. No better. Then the turbo was replaced again as suspected of being faulty. New gaskets all round and we now have a new Dpf and new turbo, no engine faults and still no power.

Anyone have any clues, my garage , a small very capable independent is at their wits end. Last resort next week is to get a VAG diagnostic run to see if it will find any faults that are not showing up on generic testing kit.

The garage doesn't sound very capable to me, they have changed a loads of parts, cost you a load of money and not fixed the problem.

Has the MAF been changed/checked?

You really need somebody that knows what they are doing to look at it with VCDS and do some logs.
