Morning all,

 

Not sure if this is correct for my Octavia or not ... but have some weirdness with the alarm.

 

When I get home from work I usually park the car and nip inside to pick something up / change my shoes etc - whilst leaving the key in the ignition (engine off) ....

 

However when I come back to the car and open the door, the alarm goes off.  As I haven't locked the car ... but simply left it unlocked but switched off - it's almost as if the alarm has auto-set ?  Is this normal ?

Doesn't happen on the wife's Fabia for what it's worth ?

I have this exact same issue on my Octavia- only been apparent the last couple of weeks. Sadly I can't offer any advise but I follow this thread with interest!
