Under Engine Tray

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I've been trying to get an under engine tray for my Octavia Mk I (2002) without success. Would a tray from a VW Passat of a similar age fit?

Thanks,

No youd need one from a Golf/Leon/A3/Octavia

If yours is a petrol it will only have a small one at the front, but if a diesel it has a full one. If your on Facebook there are a few vRS's being broken if yours is petrol and one or two diesels.

I bought a new golf mk4 tdi one from ebay with the including side mounts (forget the name). It was about 30 or 40 quid. Fits really easily and reduced the engine noise. I hope it is also giving a marginal increase in MPGs (and less dirt in engine bay) but my front bumper has been pulled down by pesky curbs when parking, so probably gives a nice big air dam effect.

Hi fellas,

Thanks for the info. My Octavia is the petrol version, I didn't know the diesel one was different so thanks for the heads up there, stops me buying the wrong one. I will look out for the Golf/Leon/A3 variants as well.

Cheers,

Normski
