Starting issues & sticking at revs causing black smoke

I'm unsure if the two are related but my car has trouble starting after being stood for 2+ hours, in mornings after 7+hours it's like a wind up car where it takes several key turns while holding the key to start. Recently when on roads it has started to stick I boot it, it sticks at around 3k revs but this may vary. When it sticks no boost is present and my car kicks loads of black smoke out.

Please help, the starting issue has been for ages but has not got worse. Thanks
