Hi Guys,

While cleaning my drum brakes, I noticed a tiny leak from the left drum wheel cylinder. The shoes or drum weren't contaminated. 

 

My questions are:

1) Is it better to change wheel cylinder in pairs?

2) Do you recommend I replace the shoes and drums as well, although from what I could see they are still in good condition. (see attached pictures)

1) I can't see why.

2) Based on your photos there is no fluid contamination of the friction material and lots of wear left.

247, no it's fine to change just one cylinder. No need to change shoes or drum unless they are very worn.
