Cleaning fabric headlining

Featured Replies

Anyone got any top tips for cleaning the beige fabric headlining and sun visors in my Superb 3 please?

Megs APC has cleaned loads of marks off mine perfectly.

I am a big fan of Meg's APC, but have in the last year or so changed to AD FAB for interior fabric cleaning.

Cheaper and i would suggest possibly better...

Very good results on all the job's i've tackled. The .:R36 has a light coloured roof liner and AD FAB did agreat job

Autobrite Direct Fab or Autoglym Interior shampoo have served me well!

What dilution did you use FAB at please?

I use 10:1 that's what it says on the bottle you could increase for stubborn stains.

Sounds about right - i have a 10:1 mix for general clean and freshen-up; plus a 50:50 bottle for stubborn stains.

I've always just got a bowl of warm water, added in some washing power (small amount) and wiped it down with a micro fibre cloth.

Just done that with the headlining of my convertible as it was very mucky and it's cleaned it up lovely. Had a lot of water marks round the rear window from condensation running off the glass and managed to get all those off too.

The only tip I can offer is take it slow and dont swamp it with water as it can ripple if it gets over wet
