Hello,

For no reason whats-so-ever a gang of birds - feathered - decided to attack my car while I was overtaking a large van on the motorway...

They swooped down, coming out of the sun, and stole one of my headlight washer covers.. Even to fast for the dash cam. They must have been professional/riffraff.

I found a link on the forum and am grateful for the info. I'v acquired a new flap off ebay. The thing is - as shown in the photo - I don't have anywhere on the end of the jet where the flap would seem to clip on. On close inspection of the jet I can't see any other breaks. Am I missing something as the flap has nowhere to clip onto the jet ?

Clips onto the two arms below the washers jets at each side. It doesn't feel secure when you put it on.

are you sure you have the right part as this is what it should look like

 

 

OK, That's for the help. I pulled out the sound one and yes I see the fitting is wrong. I'v just got off the Skoda site live chat as they came online as I was filling in the contact form, "Rainsworth Skoda Mansfield ".  I'v sent them photo's showing they'er not the same. ( Thank's for the photo of correct one )

They said they'll pass it on the part's dep who will contact me.  I got it off ebay for £6.99. I'v copied the photo you put up and sent it to them. 

I'v never had a Skoda before and man/woman, I really like this car.

Wiilydog is spot on, I never noticed it was the wrong part. It was about 2 years ago when I did mine.

No probs, look like they have sent you a one for the facelifted model whereas yours is a pre-FL model.
