Is there a cut out in the drivers side arch guard for the intercooler pipework? Noticed when I removed it earlier there seemed to be an inspection area in the guard...just want to make sure it's an inspection point and I haven't just cracked it...

Well that's a relief...Thanks! Gonna have to keep my eye on it as i'm sure it was dripping oil from there yesterday - I've cleaned it off to see if it was just dirt n water or specifically oil so if it comes back I've got a leak somewhere :|

you mean there's a usual place for an oil leak to start around there or that's just where the run off is?

It's the lowest point of the turbo system so oil collects there and seeps out.

As techie said they all seem to 'breath' a little from there. Just oil that seems to be find it's way into the cooler, don't worry unless it is excessive. In which case I'm sure you'd find out in other ways before inspecting that joint!
