Well the time has come where my exhaust finally needs replacing. I dont really want anything expensive or noisy.

Does anyone know where i can get an oem spec centre and rear section that isnt going to cost the earth.

 

I asked my local dealer for a price and almost fell through the floor.

Its a 2004 Vrs and would appear the chrome tip is causing the issue. I can source the centre section for a mere £25 plus the vat

I can also source a standard rear section but with the twin tail pipes that bend around and point to the floor for £95 plus the vat. 

Could i just cut the bends off and have my old trim welded into place or is there an easier way.

Whats the Vrs Tail section price then?

 

If you go the route you are thinking add another 2-3-4h labor on for the welding.

 

you fitting yourself or getting a shop to do it?

From the dealer the complete rear silencer was over £400. 

 

I was going to let my mot guy do it 

Or go and get a custom built one
