Hi folks, am newly registered on this forum but have been using the site regularly for useful guides for the past year or so. Just wanted to say hi! I own a 2001 Fabia 1.4 16v automatic. Love the car to bits. Have considered selling the car recently but it is too good to let go. Have now handed the car over to the wife for school and tesco runs and do as much on the car as my limited skills allow. This site is great and I have found so much useful info on here in the past. Saved me a lot of money avoiding expensive dealership 'diagnosis'. Keep up the good work!

decided it is finally time to catalog all the bits n pieces I've done to Gandalf (MY17 Superb 162TSi). its been 3.5 yrs, and a lot has been done, but u wouldn't think that looking at it. below is full listing of everything I've done. all things small, and some big. Hi guys, I'm at desperation stage here. Changed bearings on the car. Ball joints also changed. The threads on my TREs were goosed from getting the busy off, so I bought new ones to replace them. My issue is the jam nuts. I have watched/read pretty much everything that's out there, yet these things won't budge. Tried heat, spray etc. Is it definitely clockwise for both to loosen them off you are looking at the hub from the outside of the wheel arch? Lefty loosey when looking from the insid

Hi new to the site I have just purchased a 2008 superb Laurin and klement edition in dark blue with cream leather 118000 with original wheels athou the wheels need full refurb i think they are diamond cut but maybe someone could correct me could anyone tell me how many were produced in mk1s and are they a rare car I would have preferred the 1.9 as apose to the 2.0 litre but it drives just a good and coud not find this edition in a 1.9 but I don't think they did a laurin klement in a 1.9 tdi but

Generally, i dont like to be one of those people to open up another topic that has been exhausted time and time again, but after extensive research, i really am struggling to find a forum response that matches fully with my issue.
