Okay, I have a Seat version rns 510 (seat media system, no SD card slot, non led screen) with FW 0996. My map version is I think v4 maps. Can I update the maps to the latest version or will I need to update my firmware first? What is the highest firmware and maps that will run on this unit? I've searched for ages but can't work it out.

Pretty sure any unmodified firmware should be able to load any map version, It's only where modified SW versions have been used you'll get problems. The latest maps are currently V13.

 

If you really want to update the firmware, the latest for a Seat version of that age is 1036. Unless you're having a problem, I probably wouldn't bother with changing the FW, just update the maps
