Hi, noticed something today with my mk1 Octavia where the steering column is ever so slightly angled out to in (if your looking dead centre on the steering wheel, you'd be facing towards the middle of the dash instead of dead straight ahead).

Just seems odd as to why it would be like that? You would have thought it should be angled dead straight ahead.

Just wondering if this is normal or there is some sort of problem?

I think my wheel points slightly off centre, but only ever so slightly.

Mine seems to have been caused by a bent rear beam, points about 30 degrees to the right so much more severe than yours.
