2 Skoda Family... Update! We have it!

Featured Replies

Hi guys. Ive been kicking around another part of the forum since I picked up my first skoda - a 2016 Octavia VRS TSI. I previously had a 2014 leon, which turned out to be a friday afternoon car. The dealer was a friday afternoon dealer every day and I hated them. Anyway... At that point we were a SEAT household, the mrs had an Ibiza. Ive convinced her to chop it in now its 3 years old for a brand new monte carlo in white! We pick it up in two weeks after a holiday. Shes just changed her insurance over and added me onto it, its webt down!!! Despite the car costing 50% more brand new, having more toys and more power and being far more desirable of course ;)

So we are looking forward to becoming a Skoda household! The SEAT dealer has lost over £40k in sales because of hia attitude to boot.

We'll try not to do the noob thing and ask all the usual questions but I will be treating her to a few useful bits and bobs from superskoda/skodadop. Any tips, tricks and advice is welcomed lol.

Cheers

make sure you get some photos up. Ive got a monte estate, i wanted an ocavia vrs (as I had a mk5 golf gti and r32 before hand) but it was just too much for me atm so I had to settle with the fabia estate as i didnt really take to the rapid or the yeti. I've changed my mind somewhat on the yeti's but to get one id want would be more than the fabia i wanted so i'm happy. When I chop the fabia in my salary should've at least doubled which will be perfect timing to get a mk8 golf gti/r, so im holding on in hope ha

Well its been a bit of a wait but she has finally picked it up today! Shes very happy with it! Its a monte, in white, with the red interior bits (apart from the console which we got black), she got the light assist pack and some heated seats too. Ive had a drive and I actually like it, I love the look of it and I'm jealous of the black splitter - wish I had one on my VRS Octavia now!
