Spotify, Netflix etc on aftermarket h/u

Featured Replies

Hiya guys, Iv been looking at a few aftermarket headunits to replace the bog standard 'stream' CD player in my newly aquired Octy 2.

Iv read a few posts about the DNS-820 I think it is, looks awesome and is top of my list... Thing is though is I want a unit that I can download Netflix and Spotify too! Nearly everything I listen to is on Spotify and when I'm working nights I often get a few hours to go kip in the car so Netflix or Amazon would be ideal so I can stream off the works wifi.

Anyone know if the DNS-820 supports apps or am I looking at an android unit? If so which is the best to go for? Anyone had any experience?

Cheers guys

I'd thought most Chinese android 4.4.4 and above units would meet your criteria.

I don't run either app but I've no issues listening to DAB+ audio (via my usb dongle) whilst simultaneously using the satnav.

If you care to take a look on XDA Developers website, they have everything you need to know about these Chinese MTCB/C/D units.
